Ascomut is the Association representing companies importing and distributing in Italy:
• machine tools
• tooling
• ancillary equipment and accessories
• measuring machinery and instruments
•chemical products for manufacturing and maintenance
ASCOMUT is a member of CONFCOMMERCIO, the General Confederation of Trade, Tourism and Services. It represents small, medium and big companies in the service industry on a national scale.
HISTORY AND MISSION
Founded in 1946 by Senator Edoardo Origlia, in the post-war years and in the following decades the Association played a significant role in the “reconstruction” of the industry and the import-export trade in Italy.
Over the years, ASCOMUT has witnessed the complex evolution of the market and the ongoing development of technology, facing its challenges and always operating in order to keep the pace and support effectively the needs of its member companies.
ASCOMUT daily commitment towards its members is to face and solve the different problems concerning their business, to safeguard the interests of the industry sector with the Institutions, to inform and update on essential topics, to provide services and training on the most relevant subjects.
